DVNext Gelation Time Measuring Rotational Rhmeter

The DVNext Rotational Rheometer is the latest model from AMETEK Brookfield, incorporating new advanced features requested by our customers, alongside the repeatability and reliability expected from us. It is an easy-to-use, standalone instrument designed to measure viscosity, gelation time, and yield stress. It is available in both a standard version and a 21 CFR Part 11-compliant version.

The Brookfield AMETEK DVNext Rotational Rheometer with Gelation Time Measurement Function.

The DVNext Rheometer, equipped with a gelation timer function, measures gelation time using a unique magnetic coupling. The magnetic connector securely attaches the glass rod to the rheometer's spindle. Once the gelation time is reached, the display shows both the gelation time and the corresponding viscosity value. The glass rod can be quickly and easily detached from the instrument. The integrated temperature probe provides peak exothermic data when necessary. The DVNext comes with a glass measuring rod, compressible glass rod adapter, adjustable stopper, and a temperature probe.

The testing method can be run manually or using the program stored in the instrument's memory.

The DVNext, with its gelation timer function, is preferred for measuring gel coatings, resins, and fillers due to its accuracy and reliability. The viscosity data obtained during testing can also be useful for fully characterizing the material flow behavior.

Packages of 10 glass rods are available (use part number GT-1010).

Replacement magnetic connectors can be retrofitted to existing viscometers (use part number GT-2000).

The DVNext instrument can also be used as a standard rotational viscometer with any standard viscometer spindle set or measuring accessories.
